This assortment is a collection of six of the tastiest and most colourful flowers commonly used as garnishes on salads, desserts and cocktails.

- Scarlet runner is most commonly grown for its beans, but it is also a prolific flower producer! The climbing plants produce an abundance of scarlet red flowers that will keep on coming if picked continuously. The flavour is very similar to beans and is a great option for adding to your favourite summer salads.

- Borage has great versatility in the kitchen. The stems and leaves can be added to salads and the pretty star-shaped blue flowers have a cucumber-like flavour, mildly salty with a sweet honey taste.

- Calendula leaves can be added to salads and the flowers used as garnish or seasoning. The petals and have a lightly bitter taste, while still herbal and peppery.

- English lavender is a classic edible flower beloved by most foodies. The stunningly beautiful purple flowers are a favourite for their delicate presentation and have a mild, peppery, floral flavour. Lavender is one of the most popular flowers for culinary purposes, as it can be added fresh or dried to a panoply of dishes, from sweet floral desserts to heartier meat roasts.

- Marigolds are amongst the most popular edible flowers, shipped to restaurants all over the world. The petals have a peppery, citrusy flavour, reminiscent of anise.

- The multi-coloured petals of the ‘’Johnny Jump Up’’ viola flowers have a mild, delicate wintergreen flavour. A tasty, sweet and unique garnish, the petals are especially stunning when candied.

We have put a lot of thoughts into the design and packaging of our seed packets. Our seeds are all carefully packed in food grade kraft paper/aluminium zipper lock bags, and then are shipped in eco-friendly padded mailers.

We heat-seal each of our seed packet for even more protection from moisture, odour and light, allowing you to store your seeds for up to 3x longer than paper or plastic. Plant them all, germinate some indoors, save some for next season - it’s up to you!
