Shipping Policy

 

🚛 At Ecoseedbank, we are committed to making gardening accessible and affordable for as many Canadians as possible. We understand that shipping to remote regions can be costly and that small orders of just a few seed packets may not require a tracking number, which can sometimes cost more than the product itself. That's why we've developed the most comprehensive and convenient shipping policy we can logically offer.

🍁 We use Canada Post for all our shipping needs as it is the most reliable and practical way for us to fulfill orders. Canada Post picks up packages from our Montreal offices five times a week, from Monday to Friday at 4 p.m. EST.

🚀 We have become experts in preparing your order fast. We strive to process and ship most orders within 1-2 business days. In rare cases, items may require additional processing time and may be shipped separately.

🚚 📬 We offer two shipping methods, automatically available at checkout based on your order size:

1- 📧 $6.99 Standard Shipping: Available for smaller orders containing a limited number of seed packets. 

OR

2- 📦 Expedited Shipping with Tracking: Available for all orders, this option includes a tracking number and faster delivery.

 

1- ✔️ STANDARD SHIPPING:

📩 If you select ‘’Standard Shipping’’ at checkout, your order will be sent via Canada Post Oversized Lettermail, which is mixed with regular mail.

⌛ Once your order has shipped, Canada Post’s normal delivery time is 3-12 business days, depending on your location.                                         

🖨️ We will email you to confirm shipment when we print your packing slip.

⚠️ Please note that this shipping method does not come with a tracking number.

🔒 We cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed shipments sent via Oversized Lettermail without tracking. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse to resend an order that might have been lost, stolen, delayed, returned, damaged or sent to the wrong address.

🙋💬 If you have any questions or concerns about your shipment, please feel free to reach out to us. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we're always happy to help you resolve any issue. Please allow up to three weeks before contacting us in the rare situation that your order has been delayed, as you will most likely receive it before then.

🚨 If your order is time-sensitive or you require delivery confirmation, we strongly recommend choosing tracked shipping.

 

2- ✔️ EXPEDITED SHIPPING WITH TRACKING:

📦 Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout by Canada Post, based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.

⏲️ Once your order has shipped, normal delivery time is 2-5 business days.

🔍This shipping method comes with a tracking number so you will be able to follow the progress of your shipment.

📧 Tracking details are emailed once your order is packed and ready to ship.

 

SHIPPING TERMS:

📝 To ensure a smooth order process, please make sure to review your cart before checking out.

🧾 For logistical reasons, we are unable to modify orders once they have been placed. This includes adding, removing, substituting items, changing quantities, or switching products.

🚚 For clarity and customer service reasons, we are unable to combine orders or refund shipping fees once an order has been placed.

🤝 We understand that sometimes orders need to be cancelled, and we are happy to accommodate cancellations as long as the items have not yet been marked as shipped.

🌎 We currently only ship within Canada and do not offer international shipping.

🚩 When purchasing seeds within Canada, no duty or import fees are charged between provinces.

💰 Orders of 5kg or more of the same seed variety are eligible for tax exemption.

🧪 All of our seeds are tested for purity, germination and noxious weeds by a government-accredited lab, and conform to Canadian Seeds Regulations under the Seeds Act.

🥼 If you require a phytosanitary certificate or seed analysis certificate, please contact us via email and we can provide you with a price estimate and the necessary procedures to follow.
